Giving back to make the world a better place is central to who I am. I am proud to be a public servant in the many areas that matter to me, to my family and to my community.
Director, Resource Conservation District of the Santa Monica Mountains
Appointed by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, I am honored to serve as director for this public agency, whose mission is "to promote land stewardship and resource conservation through ecological research, conservation planning and design, habitat restoration and environmental education."
Former President of Parent Faculty Clubs at Yerba Buena Elementary School, Lindero Canyon Middle School and Agoura High School
I served at the highest levels of parent leadership at my children’s schools, including district-level roles on the Superintendent’s Advisory Board. I'm the proud recipient of the 2017 Friend of Education Award from the Las Virgenes Educators Association.
Campaign Manager, “Citizens for Excellent Las Virgenes Schools” Measure E
I coordinated and managed a four-city, two-county parcel tax measure which secured more than $27 million worth of stable funding for our school district. Nearly 80% of the community voted in support of the successful measure.
Homeless Shelter Site Manager, Conejo Valley Meal and Shelter Program
For nearly 15 years, I've managed a weekly winter shelter and dinner program for the homeless and underserved population of the Conejo Valley, coordinating hundreds of volunteers each year and keeping the most vulnerable members of our community off the streets overnight.
Agoura Hills Community Service Days
I was honored to be recruited to the original leadership team of our city-wide program of civic engagement, and have served on the advisory committee since its inception.
